Creatures Of The Night - Vampire Poem
In the night I creep,
I blend in with the silence.
When I move its catlike,
When I sniff its like wind.
When I hunt my prey,
I think like a preadtor.
I gather you human ever so slightly,
With the silk softness of your skin on my fingers
I bite into your neck letting blood run down my throat.
When I awaken you,
I will be your mentor.
When I leave you,
You will have learned the ropes.
When I return to you,
You will be much older.
We stalk in the night,
We bring in the prey.
We run like the wind,
But the stench of blood is there to stay.
So if you listen little human in the night,
You will never be able tell if there is a vampire in your sight.
So be careful who you talk or trust,
Cause it might be the last night you live to be a huamn being.
