The skulls on stakes in the background really add to the old world feel of the painting while her head dress and attire lean toward a post apocalyptic futuristic feel. Alexandria is seductive yet menacing. This is one bad ass vamp you wouldn't want to cross. The artist states he created her to reflect someone similar to Dracula. She shows a terrifying presence even amongst her own kind but yet, also seductive. An unavoidable spell that draws victims and other vampires alike. His initial drawing was on pencils then scanned in and all coloring was done in photoshop. The outfit she has shows her sensual nature while the staff she carries with skulls at the end represents her authority over whoever she commands.
Neil Que has been drawing since he was really young with backgrounds on different mediums such as oils, pastels, watercolors, and pencils. He started getting into digital art a few years ago when he decided to make illustration more of a full time commitment. Knowing that there are many more elements he needs to know about digital art, everything is still a learning process so he hopes to keep improving and create more amazing work.
