Death Calls To Me

by Surrender Knight
(Chicago, IL, USA)

In the darkness someone waits for me,
Carved of ivory, marble and stone,
In the darkness it whispers to me,
that it yearns for my soul,

Cold as ice,
captivating eyes,
wicked smile,
and a mesmerizing tone.

In the darkness it searches for me,
something to claim as it own.

"I will find you,and make you mine, you can not hide from me, for I have marked you, as you me. Your soul beckons me to you, through dreams and even in wake."I have heard it say, and so it is my fate that death will become me.
