Into the night
he flew with
longing in his
heart
Searching for the
light to his dark
With many centuries
behind him, he long to be free
Tears weld in his eyes as the dawn approach for thee
Another night almost ended still om sign of hope
When from a cliff's edge there she stood, all his hope
Tears steaming down her face, slowly she moved closer to the edge
No longer able to live she pray for a quick end
With a tug on her arm into his embrace she rose
No longer would either of them live with half a soul
