Midnite Vision - Vampire Poetry
(Brooklyn, NY, America)
I tire of the morning lite
and long for the embrace of nite.
waiting with my window wide, a invertation for you to come inside.
I know when you are near
from the stillness in the air
from the quickening of my heart, when you enter the dark.
I can't hear your foot steps as you come closer to me, my eye's closed tight as I try hard to breath evenly.
I feel the weight of you as you hover above me, your cold breath apound my neck sends my heart pounding.
I feel your lips brush against my skin and I shiver from within
A vampire kiss and a virgin wish for this nite to never end.
but alas it not to be, for as quickly as you come to me
you make your way to leave.
I open my eye's and see only the moon shining in, if it wasn't for the rose sitting in the moon lite glow, promising a next nite vist,
I think of you of being just a midnite vision.
