Movie Van Helsing

by Jake
(Utah, US)

Review of vampire movie 'Van Helsing.' Since childhood I used to like thriller movies. Vampire movies, like the Van Helsing movie, certainly fall into that catagory so I like them very much.

All humans find pleasure in fear. We enjoy the feeling of being frightened by unnatural and unbelievable events. Even during the holidays we used to ask our grandpa to tell us stories which were thrilling.

Of course, he never told a Vampire Story. We were not allowed to go to such movies, when we were young.

But now, there is no restriction since we can decide what to watch and what not to. So I got the chance to watch some vampire movies. Based off of the original, 'Van Helsing' is one such movie.

In the movie Van Helsing, Van Helsing is the hero and is cursed to forget his past. He is sent on a particular mission. He wanders in the world and hunts down the evil and fearsome creatures.

Van Helsing then reaches Transylvania, where he finds that an evil and seductive vampire, Count Dracula is ruling the place. It is a shadowy world full of suspense.

As per the original Van Helsing story, Van Helsing is being sent to hunt down Count Dracula.

The Van Helsing movie is directed by Stephen Sommers. The direction and editing of the movie is done so well that you are not able to guess what comes next.

It makes you sit on the edge of your seat. Hugh Jackman stars as Van Helsing. Kate Beckinsale and Richard Roxburgh play Anna Valerious and Count Vladislaus Dracula.

The film is beautiful to look at and the movie Van Helsing remains one of my favorite vampire movies.
