What happens when you cross vampires with Alice in Wonderland? You get a prize winning masterpiece! And yes, I do mean prize winning.

A contest, held on a site for talented artists, contained the theme of ‘Vampires in Wonderland.’ Vampires in Wonderland was the creative genius of an artist known by stagehand007. Stage is a very talented vampire artist in his own right but that is a story for another page.

This page is dedicated to United States artist Stefany Belisle, aka SBGothik, and her beautifully stunning original vampire art titled ‘A Very Mad Tea Party.’ A very mad tea party indeed.

Stefany took first place in the Vampires in Wonderland contest and it is very easy to see why. This theme is definitely a clever, fun one to create from and create, she did.

The intricacy in this original vampire art is mind blowing. From the bottle in Alice’s pocket to the blood being poured delicately out of tea pot there is nothing about this piece that doesn’t scream talent.

The chesire cat placed statically on Alice’e chair and the blood being served with the cake in the vampires den all add to the unbelievable creative talent of this vampire painting.

There were dozens and dozens of talented submissions to the Vampires in Wonderland contest and we here at Vampire Empire would like to congratulate ‘A Mad Tea Party’ for a very deserving first place win.

In regard to this original vampire art, the artist states, “Initially this was the very first thing that came to my mind and I swear I don't think I've ever produced as detailed a pencil sketch in such a short time in a very long time. I really wanted to make this look similar to the old Master paintings, with a few twists of my own.”

More on the artists:

Stefany Belisle, aka SBGothik

“Whenever I get the spare time and the creative freedom to do so, I like to indulge in various forms of digital painting from sketchy images to realism. My subjects mostly include that of the fantastical nature, but I'm in the process of expanding it to subjects of the strange, dark, horrific and spiritual.”

What others have said…

“When I first saw it I was completely blown away at the amazing detail. I mean seriously I didn't think it was possible to paint something that just looks so stunning. The richness of the colors and so fitting for the theme, it’s just amazing. You have some incredible talent.”

“I am in love with this. The amount of detail you put into all your art is incredible, but this really takes the cake. The Mad Hatter is by far my favorite part of the image, the way that he's caressing Alice's face is simultaneously creepy and sensual, and I just love it.”

“Damn, this has an astonishing amount of detail and intricacy to it. I particularly enjoy the Cheshire Cat and his mischievous smirk on the back of Alice's chair. I love how he blends in with the background.”

“Beautiful, simply beautiful! Such colors and details. I think you managed to combine your clean lines and that 'old masters' feeling perfectly.”

“I like how the White Rabbit Vamp is inviting the viewer to the tea party. It really adds to the narrative in the painting”
