In a world of vampire shows then and now like Vampire Diaries, Moonlighting and Buffy The Vampire Slayer (all good shows by the way) HBO True Blood series springs out of no where to give us a more mature take on the vampire series. From the goriness, seediness and sexiness (let me say it again, SEXINESS), this HBO series takes us on one heck of a ride.

If you are like the rest of us, it's a ride no one wants to get off.

So go ahead... give us all you got! Who can't use more Sookie Stackhouse, Bill Compton or Eric Northman? Vampire Bill? As Sookie once said, 'what kind of name is Bill for a vampire?'

Not to mention all the other colorful characters we have the good fortune of being exposed to. Like Tara's brashness or Sam's mild manner (mostly)? And, how can we not mention Jason Stackhouse?

This vampire show is filled with juicy goodness!
