What is it about Gothic Vampire Crosses?

A Gothic Cross Necklace Has Certain Elegance

I’m not exactly sure where my fascination began with gothic vampire crosses. Maybe it was the first time I saw Angel in season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer give Buffy the cross necklace to help protect her. The vampire protecting the slayer. The pure poetry of it.

Of course my true vampire fascination probably started earlier than that. It may have been when I picked up my first Anne Rice novel and became addicted to the vampire world. The power, the sadness, the beauty.

I fell in love with this vampire cross the second I saw it. It is simply stunning.

In any event, where ever it began, when ever it happened, the beauty of a gothic cross still intrigues me to this day.

I own several myself. One of my favorites is a cross necklace I wear quite frequently. It is two tone silver and gold with a beautiful diamond set right in the middle. It’s exquisite and I get compliments on it when ever I wear it.

I have some pieces that cost 10 bucks and came on a black silk rope and others that are quite expensive, filled with diamonds and will forever stand the test of time. Some are necklaces, some are mantel pieces, all are beautiful.

Do you have your favorite vampire cross necklace yet?
