Whatever the case may be, dozens and dozens of vampire films have been made over time dating back to 1909 with the first vampire movie ever made.
These films leave many of us craving more. Some movies are romantic, some terrifying, some violent and disgusting, while others stir something in the blood, no pun intented, and leave us with a curiosity for more.
One of the more recent vamp movies to come along was the vampire film Daybreakers. The film stars Ethan Hawke and promised to be a heck of a ride. Set in the future, the world has been over run by vamps. What? It could happen!
One of the best vampire movies (although there are many) turned out to be 'Interview with the Vampire.' Based of a novel by Anne Rice, it includes an all star cast. You can read a Vampire Empire Visitor Review here
I had my reservations when the film first came out. I was a huge Anne Rice fan (still am) and heard they were casting Tom Cruise as Lestat. He was just so commercial at the time I didn't think he was the right choice. To my pleasant surprise, he pulled it off and the movie was awesome.
