Vampire Poetry 'The Transaction'

by Aislyn
(Ohio)

Vampire Poetry 'The Transaction'

Sanguine and Ruby droplets,

Sparkling on pale skin.

Misty eyes and no way out for screams.

The branches of the trees are reaching,
In pursuit of a better place than that of this world.

Running tongues against lips for one last taste,
The cult removes all trace of our existence.

I look to the moon and fade,
Becoming nothing more than a shadow in the mist.
