Vampire Poetry titled 'A Vampire's Guilt'
To breathe without a heartbeat,
is a cruel trick of deceit.
As my humanity still remains,
I have no one else to blame.
I asked for this so called immortality bliss,
now the warm sunlight I do miss.
I roam under the cold velvety night sky's,
the moon became my sun,
I wander the earth with beckoning lies.
Holding my victims with my inhuman eye's,
they come to me at my will,
as their life's blood drains and their body's still.
I look to the heavens in silent prayers,
forgive me once again for this is a life I have chosen to bear.
