Thanks to our friends from across the pond at Castalides Pictures Ltd. we are able to enlighten you about the first ever cross media global vampire Casting competition!
News TIP: Top Marvel and DC artist Eduardo Barreto has started working on VAMPIRE WEDDING comic mini series and will ink and penciled for the very first time in the history of comics as vampire cartoon the winners of the Vampire cross media casting competition in the actual Vampire Wedding comic magazine.
What is that you ask? Well, perhaps you better brush up on your acting chops.

VAMPIRE WEDDING is a light-hearted, comedic, high concept media brand, a six issues comic mini series in production inked and penciled by top Marvel and DC artist Eduardo Barreto and a feature film in packaging stage,
Uk based film production company Castalides Pictures has launched the very first cross media Global Vampire Casting Competition turning the dream of millions of aspiring Draculas, Nosferatu, Bellas and Edward Cullens with a passion for comics, comedy FB and APPs from all over the world into reality by given them the chance to be a vampire in the comic and in the film.
In order to take part in the three competitions, aspiring vampires would need to let their imagination go wild and post their best vampire impressions on the Vampire Wedding Facebook fan page www.facebook.com/vampirewedding
The casting campaign was presented at the London Film & Comic Con from the 8 to July 10 by Gina Varela, The Devil's Rock actress, and attracted a great deal of interest from both LFCC, comic and horror film audiences and is creating a big buzz on the net and hundreds of entries.
In less than few weeks, the company's Facebook fan page received hundreds of pictures from aspiring and professional actors and aspiring vampires from all over the world, with most of them giving a vampire impression by showing fangs and fake blood
To make the experience even more interactive, Castalides Pictures has just launched a free iPhone/iPad APP titled VAMPCASTING www.vampireweddingmovie.com/mobile to cast aspiring vampires from all over the world for both the comic and the film.
The first issue of the Vampire Wedding comic mini series, penciled, inked and colored by DC and Marvel comic artist legend Eduardo Barreto, will be presented at the end of October at the London MCM Expo Comic Con.ON VAMPIRE WEDDING COMIC BOOK & MOVIE
Vampire Wedding is a £4 million budget film currently in packaging stage. To those of us in the states, that's over 6.5 million dollars.
Castalides Pictures has partnered with London based advertising and publishing company Cabbell Publishing Ltd for the launch and the marketing campaign of the VAMPIRE WEDDING comic mini series via multiple sponsorship and interactive product placement opportunities within the VAMPIRE WEDDING line of products, such as a casting campaign app, a comic reader app and a video game app, available as free down loadable iPhone and Android platform based smart phone and tablet computer apps, which are developed by partnering software company Appino Ltd.
Castalides Pictures strategic move of building an interactive international community and fan base prior to the launch of the comic mini series and the film will ensure both an active fan base for the contents as well as guarantee international theatrical distribution after the film is finished which is currently in packaging stage.
The writer and creator of VAMPIRE WEDDING is Robert Huttinger, who also has a romantic comedy, titled KISS THE FROG, in pre-production. Michael London (MILK, THE INFORMANT, SIDEWAYS, SMART PEOPLE) and Bonnie Bruckheimer (DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD) are producing. A-list talent Katie Holmes is rumored to be attached for the lead role.
