Vampires In The News - Winner Of Bella's Ring Announced
Vampire Empire Announces Winner of Contest To Win Bella's Engagement Ring
Vampire-empire.com today announced the winner of the fashion reproduction of the engagement ring Edward Cullen gave to Bella Swan in Stephanie Meyers Twilight Series.

Popular vampire enthusiasts and fine art site, Vampire Empire, announced a winner for it's Bella Swan's Engagement ring contest offering Twilight fans a chance to win an official fashion reproduction of the ring Edward Cullen gives to Bella when he proposes to her.
The contest started on June 26, 2010 and ran through July 11, 2010 with the winner being announced on July 15, 2010.
This remarkable vampire website received over 25 entries to their much anticipated contest however, only 12 qualified to be in the running. Why? The official rules of the contest stated the contest entry must be 200 words long, or better, on anything Edward Cullen related. Many of the entries came in WAY under that. Some were even submitted as a one sentence entry.
Even with so many entries being disqualified, choosing the winning entry was extremely difficult. There were some great entries. Some as creative poems, others full of heart felt sentiment. Really there were three that came extremely close to winning, making the decision tough. In the end though, a choice was made.
The winner? Melissa Marzigliano of Long Beach, CA. Her entry was heart felt, creative, included personal stories and great insight such as, "The Twilight series is the tale of a journey through love. This is a journey through temptation, threat, and despair – all with the heat of passion and the power of love guiding the way."
